THE MENU

We carefully selected craft a menu based on the concept of an old soul being the last stage of reincarnation – the moment you pass on the old to become the new. Sandwiches, sliders, tacos and hot dogs based on American and World classics jibe with the soul of a native East Texan. As comfortable as broken in boots, these soulful classics stick with you like the red dirt on back roads.

We change our menu regularly, adding new flavors and bringing back classics as ingredients become available.

THE SANDWICHES

Cubano BurtonsThe Cubano is our signature sandwich and there is nothing in Lufkin like it! We roast pork to the point it pulls easily apart, then we add ham, swiss cheese, dill pickles and mustard.

 

 

apple_jackThe Apple Jack is another local favorite, stacked with cheese, more cheese, and then another layer of cheese. Topped off with a slice of apple and ham, it’s a sweet surprise!

 

 

Bhan MiThe Bhan Mi is an East Texas twist on a classic Viatnamese sandwich. We load it with braised pork, vinagerette slaw, cilantro and dress it with sassy sriracha mayo.

 

THE TACOS

Using our signature pulled pork, the tacos take on a rich and hearty flavor worthy of a food truck. We add a piquillo peppers, pico de gallo, cotija cheese, cilantro and occasionally adding seasonal fruits and vegetables to create a rooted and warm experience.

THE SLIDERS

No food truck is complete without its compliment of sliders. Whether it’s pulled pork, brisket or hamburger, these sliders pack a punch with secret sauces, fresh ingredients and seasonal vegetables.

THE HOT DOGS

Its a beautiful tradition – deep frying. We take the finest hot dogs, throw them in the fryer then top them with a vinagrette cole slaw. From there, we let our imagination be our guide, adding seasonal flavors like blueberry creme. Its summer between two buns.
